"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." -Matthew 18:20</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We have seen this verse lived out this weekend. Since Sunday we have seen strangers come together with prayers, kind words and financial support for a family in need. I have been overwhelmed by the response to yesterday's post. Each time that Brooke told me how much money had been sent to her PayPal account, we were both floored with the generosity. I cannot tell you how many times I have found tears in my eyes just at the sheer kindness that has been flooding out towards this family.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In just 24 hours we raised $1,800. A small portion of that money has been used to send flowers to Julee and her family but the majority of the money is being donated to a fund that will help send Preslee to college. We are sending Julee all the names of the people who donated as well as any messages that were included with the donations (how much money you donated will not be disclosed).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you are still interested in contributing, there are a number of ways that you can do so and continue to help this family. You can find a list of these opportunities at <a href="http://www.jennablogs.com/2012/10/ways-to-help-turner-family.html">Jenna's Journey</a>. There is a silent auction being planned, an opportunity to send encouragement to Julee over the coming months and several businesses are offering up their proceeds to Julee. There are so many ways to continue to raise money for Preslee. There are also ways to share prayers and encouragement with Julee to help carry her through the months ahead. There is truly an outlet for anyone who wants to help and no contribution or effort is too small.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have had a few specific requests from people who would like to send a card to Julee. Julee's friend <a href="http://staffordmoments.blogspot.com/">Melissa Stafford</a> is collecting cards right now and will send them to Julee. You can email her at: mlstafford26@yahoo.com and she will help you.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We are no longer accepting donations but if you are interested, you can donate directly to the fund here:</div>

Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way. There were so many wonderful women involved in deciding to do this and taking the time to make it happen, this was a community effort in the biggest way. Please continue to keep the Turner family in your thoughts and prayers. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The blogging and twitter community can be a wonderful thing. It is a wonderful place to share the little moments of our lives with other people like us. I have had the privilege of celebrating many joys in the lives of my twitter and blog friends and the honor of praying for them in trying times as well. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I began reading <a href="http://mattandjuleeturner.blogspot.com/"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6;">Julee Turner's</span></a> blog several years ago and enjoyed following along with her life. Julee's beloved husband passed away last night and leaves behind Julee and their beautiful baby girl. I am writing this on behalf of so many wonderful friends who want to reach out and let Julee know that we are praying for her, thinking of her and supporting her over the days, weeks and months ahead. Most of us have never met Julee but have shared in her life through her blog.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
There was an overwhelming response from people who would like to do something to help Julee and her family. Several of us are working together to collect donations to send flowers to Julee. A fund is also being set up by Julee's friends and family. Any excess money that is collected and not needed to cover the cost of flowers will go directly to that fund. That money is being put towards sending Julee and Matt's baby girl to college. If you are unable to contribute financially at this time,
we know that Julee would covet any prayers offered on her behalf. The
Bible tells us that, <i>"where two or three are gathered in my name, there
I am with them.</i>" (Matthew 18:20). And we are certain that Julee and
her family need to feel the Lord's presence now more than ever.<br />
<br />
If you feel led to donate, you can send your donations in the form of a<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #1a1a1a;"> <a href="https://www.paypal.com/">PayPal gift</a> t</span>o Brooke Frye. Brooke's PayPal email address is <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #3d85c6;">brookeyoumans@gmail.com</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #1a1a1a;">. </span>We will be collecting money through tonight so that we can get the flowers to Julee as soon as possible.<br />
<br />
Thank you all in advance for anything you feel comfortable giving and for your prayers for the Turner family. We will be praying for the Lord's faithfulness to carry the Turner family through these difficult days. As the old hymn, "Great is Thy Faithfulness" states, may Julee and her family have "<i>strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow..."</i><br />

The second half of November was much the same for our little family of four. We continued to enjoy having extra hands with dinners and laundry and all of the things that fall to the side when you bring a new baby home. Annabelle also worked on perfecting her tummy time skills.</div>

Our little pumpkin also turned one month old in November. One month has never flown by so quickly! I feel like I just took her one month photos and I swear she was wearing those precious cupcake pjs yesterday. </div>

Being born in the fall meant we got to dress our newborn baby girl up in some of the silliest, sweetest, coziest ensembles you've ever seen. These were two of my favorite outfits! Ananbelle's Aunt Jennifer made her sweet little cap on the right. I love her little sleepy smile in the picture on the right, such an angel!</div>

Annabelle's first Thanksgiving was a lot of fun! We 'hosted' Thanksgiving at our house since we had no desire to make the drive to Texas with a 4 week old. Thankfully our families were willing to come to us! Our 'hosting' was far from spectacular. Kyle and I were still pretty exhausted so we let our families do most of the leg work with cooking and preparing our Thanksgiving feast. I spent my time dressing Annabelle up in holiday pajamas and pumpkin hats. </div>

When I was pregnant and imagining what would be the biggest challenges about being a new mom, I was terrified about how little sleep I was going to get. I am a girl who needs a solid 8 hours of sleep to be at my best. I was so unsure how I was going to operate on so little sleep and how I was going to drag myself out of bed for middle of the night feedings and diaper changes. I remember waking up in the night to the sound of Annabelle's cries and not even knowing if I had the energy to walk down the hall to her nursery. Those sleepy, quiet late night moments ended up being some of the sweetest times I had with Annabelle. Now that she sleeps through the night I miss those times with her. I am so thankful for pictures like this one that take me back to those moments. Those were the moments when the struggles of the day were erased and all that mattered was rocking my baby. There were times I wanted to cry at the very thought of getting back out of bed but I wouldn't trade it for the world. </div>

{I'm linking up with The Nester's 31 Days blog challenge. You can read all about my topic <a href="http://kyleandstephaniekrueger.blogspot.com/2012/10/31-days-of-annabelles-first-year.html">here</a>.}</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first weeks of having Annabelle at home were a whirlwind! We were fortunate in that Annabelle put herself on an eating schedule fairly quickly after she was born. She woke up to eat every three hours which gave us some predictability during our days and occasionally even allowed us to get some sleep.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifoyz-5sjOIePsunMKwgMZJ8GOAA5QPmwXiuGzhmRtUTFfi_GPHJpe8KYE9GqYLefnbAKxdeoBy_PzPpbVpZIzfmanasysJeRi-xzjHHxOQxwNSdQSurFNCemGF8YBHxn7s8rqGemunPQ/s1600/IMG_2845.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifoyz-5sjOIePsunMKwgMZJ8GOAA5QPmwXiuGzhmRtUTFfi_GPHJpe8KYE9GqYLefnbAKxdeoBy_PzPpbVpZIzfmanasysJeRi-xzjHHxOQxwNSdQSurFNCemGF8YBHxn7s8rqGemunPQ/s400/IMG_2845.jpg" width="400" /></a><br />
<br />
We had loads of help after Annabelle's arrival. Both of our families were in town (minus Annabelle's uncles) when she was born and stayed for a few days after. After that my mom and sister stayed for a few weeks. When it was time for them to go, Kyle's mom made the trip out to Atlanta to help out. We had so much help from our families and it was wonderful!<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
Since Annabelle was born at the end of October and in the midst of fall colds and flu season, our pediatrician recommended that we stay at home and avoid outings for the first several weeks. Let's be honest, that was probably for the best! I wasn't in the physical or emotional condition to be strolling around town and even if I was, it was so much more fun to stay at home and stare at this snuggly angel. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKE9BmOAGkIEoZT7Q938idBrxbXbGonU7pFHwV4XtXiGEp5q1dB5_5IH2PvfxYv_iBUhyphenhyphenMhyphenhyphen50h-i7dLobjxXQrbrTc4Bo3_glb3cZKYWMl8xc22ka0zthVg1tyBpQWHNhfLnyxJ38VeA/s1600/IMG_2846.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKE9BmOAGkIEoZT7Q938idBrxbXbGonU7pFHwV4XtXiGEp5q1dB5_5IH2PvfxYv_iBUhyphenhyphenMhyphenhyphen50h-i7dLobjxXQrbrTc4Bo3_glb3cZKYWMl8xc22ka0zthVg1tyBpQWHNhfLnyxJ38VeA/s400/IMG_2846.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We quickly saw our home transformed from being all about us, to <b>all</b> about Annabelle. Annabelle struggled with high billirubin levels when we came home so she needed lots of naps in the sun. My sewing room has three walls of windows so this is where our girl took many of her naps. My sewing table was covered in swaddle blankets, burp cloths and extra diapers and I wouldn't have had it any other way!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtddmjSMEg3vxb4qOSdwFNMusugu_Qy65IEVT5I96s3eqTiBlinrm_PTpvV7h_eH7_QmRx0URMCGtr_aIqv_dARp7ZD8tbX84Zcbah_cJXkMWw5l-xyO4wh4bHVcK258Q31qyqNLE9868/s1600/IMG_2872.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtddmjSMEg3vxb4qOSdwFNMusugu_Qy65IEVT5I96s3eqTiBlinrm_PTpvV7h_eH7_QmRx0URMCGtr_aIqv_dARp7ZD8tbX84Zcbah_cJXkMWw5l-xyO4wh4bHVcK258Q31qyqNLE9868/s400/IMG_2872.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Since we weren't leaving the house and we were on a pretty rigid schedule of feedings, pumping and sun bathing (for the little lady), we spent every spare moment doing lots of this:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgg-9bVrJBs8uYwAfUGYuTAbRaJERcG8q8DU4qnviWvJkYri9xyC7sTYX3lRUW_t_k0lLe_2y47M_rglxyM7SA_9X_4SdMIIGw7hGvUlb9Dwat5RDCEZWzbWpm298U7EiIS3XqIA8-1Bzs/s1600/IMG_2881.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgg-9bVrJBs8uYwAfUGYuTAbRaJERcG8q8DU4qnviWvJkYri9xyC7sTYX3lRUW_t_k0lLe_2y47M_rglxyM7SA_9X_4SdMIIGw7hGvUlb9Dwat5RDCEZWzbWpm298U7EiIS3XqIA8-1Bzs/s400/IMG_2881.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Even Gigi, Pops, Aunt Jenn and Uncle Jason got in on the couch naps. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb9yeQ2GzkiwQMgIvqjxUhgE_rGvAEmSgYn-X3iYx-Vvztt8_ZptgQTj83ihBRJp8P8vRyvlXHtnrc0lxaKAZX28sdtufkU7kWWzeyXt145wlhVydH2gu2JYreenNoSarOP5IV9hWN4Jo/s1600/IMG_2921.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb9yeQ2GzkiwQMgIvqjxUhgE_rGvAEmSgYn-X3iYx-Vvztt8_ZptgQTj83ihBRJp8P8vRyvlXHtnrc0lxaKAZX28sdtufkU7kWWzeyXt145wlhVydH2gu2JYreenNoSarOP5IV9hWN4Jo/s400/IMG_2921.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Overall, the first few weeks were wonderful. They somehow went by at a snails pace and in the blink of an eye. I have never been more tired in my life than I was in those first few weeks but I have also never been more thankful to be so tired.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
This little 8 pound bundle of sweetness stole our hearts. We quickly fell into a rhythm with her and loved our moments of snuggling her, studying her tiny face and soaking up all of her newborn sweetness.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
It's no secret that I have become a horrible blogger over the last year. I have been trying to think of a way to get back into it but the thought of skipping the past year, the first year of Annabelle's life, seemed a little wrong to me. Trying to come up with a way to go back and add all of these posts in a way that made sense was completely overwhelming. I was so happy to hear about <a href="http://www.thenester.com/2012/09/31-dayers-2012.html">The Nester's 31 Days challenge</a> and decided this would be the perfect way for me to catch all of you up on our life and share these special moments.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm cheating on the challenge just a bit in that my actual posts won't begin until tomorrow. But starting tomorrow, I will be spending the rest of this month blogging about the past year in our life. I'll be starting with last November, when we first brought Annabelle home. I am saving her 'birth'day week posts for, well, her first birthday week later this month. I have it all planned out and it may be a bit choppy to all of you readers (I think there are about six of you!) but that's fine by me. What I really want to do is document all of this for me, for our family, for my baby girl. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am so looking forward to dedicating time to reflecting on this past year in our life. I am sure I will cry more than a few tears as I remember all of the wonderful moments we've shared this year. I know it will be fun to look back at how much Annabelle has grown!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I am excited to spend the month of October remembering how this tiny, perfectly pink, precious angel</div>

Annabelle Rae,<br />
<br />
You are SIX months old! Seeing you turn six months old was tough for me, it just seems so big. I can no longer trick myself into somehow thinking you are a newborn. You're not. Looking back at the things you have learned and experienced this month makes my eyes get teary and my heart swell with pride.<br />

<br />
This month you learned to roll over! On March 27 you rolled from your tummy to your back for the very first time! Your daddy and I cheered and clapped, we were so excited! Just a few days later, on April 3, you finished your trick when you rolled from back to tummy for the first time. Lots more clapping and cheering took place!<br />

You discovered the wonder of the park swing this month. You were a little unsure what to think of it at first but by the end of the month you had fallen in love! You love for us to push you in the swings and you love watching all of the big kids place at the park.<br />

Another first this month was the introduction of real foods into your diet. You started with rice cereal on April 10 and took to it pretty quickly. Next you tried sweet potatoes which were a big hit! Green beans took you a bit longer to fall in love with but you caught on and now you love them all. You get so excited to see us get your food ready.<br />

Your first Easter was celebrated in Georgia this year. We had a full house for the occasion! GiGi, Pops, Aunt Jenn, Uncle Ryan and Grandma and Grandpa Krueger all came to celebrate. The bunny was very good to you! Sitting in Easter Sunday mass with my baby girl was a highlight of this month!<br />

You took your first plane ride this month which was quite eventful and very exciting. We took a trip out to Arizona so you could meet your great grandparents and help your great-great grandma celebrate her 100th birthday. It was a big weekend! Your last big event of the month was a move to Texas for the summer. You adjusted quickly to new surroundings and the crazy Texas heat!<br />

Your smiles get bigger and bigger every day! Your daddy and I still know how to get them out of you better than anyone else, but you share them with other people a little more freely now. You love to catch someone's eye in church and smile at them throughout mass. I can always tell when you are feeling overwhelmed by a new place or a crowd because your smiles disappear and you snuggle up close to your daddy or me.<br />

You have become such a chatterbox lately! You love to wake up around five in the morning and talk to yourself for about half an hour before falling back to sleep for another hour. You talk to your toes and to the toys on your activity mat. You giggle and talk when we are riding in the car. You have certainly discovered your voice and it thrills you to hear it!<br />

My darling Annabelle Rae,<br />
<br />
You are FIVE months old! I feel like I blinked and you are suddenly another month older, cuter and sweeter. I wish you would slow down but since that doesn't seem to be happening, I will just keep enjoying every moment with you.<br />
<br />
Your precious mind has been growing so much this month! I feel like I can see you getting smarter each day and discovering new things about the world around you.<br />

Your favorite new discovery this month? Your toes. Oh, sweet baby girl, you love those toesies of yours. You have always loved to suck your thumb and put your fingers in your mouth so this discovery has opened up a whole new world of fun! Diaper changes now involve trying to pry them out of your fingers and taking your picture has gotten a lot more interesting!<br />

<br />
We have been getting lots more smiles from you lately, when you can put your toes down, that is. As much as I love your big, big gummy grins, I also love your shy little smile. It's the one you flash when you're starting to feel sleepy or snuggly and it is pure preciousness. You smile when your daddy or I walk into the room and when we come to get you up from your nap. I'm not sure that I could ever get tired of seeing you smile.<br />

You haven't rolled over yet but I know it is right around the corner! We have lots of videos of you almost rolling over so I know it is just a matter of time. I cannot wait for you to do it but I also know that it will come too soon and will be one more stepping stone on the way to becoming a big girl. </div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
You are on a great schedule this month! You wake up every day between 7 and 7:30, always with a big smile on your face! After you wake up and eat we play until 9:00 then it's time for another nap. From 9-11 you nap before more playtime from 11-1. That middle of the day stretch is when we usually run errands and get out of the house. Then it's back to bed from 1-3, awake from 3-5 and an evening catnap that lasts from half an hour to an hour. You go to bed between 7 and 7:30 depending on how everyone is feeling. You still love bath time and you always go to sleep easily. One of my favorite moments of the day is tucking you in and getting one last sweet smile after I kiss you goodnight. You are an angel. </div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Our schedule works perfectly for us most days but we have had our fare share of rough ones this month as well! We think that you might be teething (although nothing is popping through) because you have had several days where all you want to do is cry and snuggle. Those days are rather unproductive. I don't usually get to shower on those days and Daddy ends up having to make dinner. As hard as those days are and as much as we hate to see you sad, we try to soak up those sweet snuggles and enjoy the moments when the only place you will nap is in our arms. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
You love to go outside! You always have fun when we take you and Tucker on walks. You usually fall asleep in your stroller while Tucker burns some energy. You also love sitting on the front porch in the rocking chair. We spend a lot of time there when you're fussy. I love to make a cup of coffee and rock you on the porch, it always makes me think of your MaMa. </div>

<br />
You are always observing what is going on around you. You pay attention to everything and I love to sit and watch your eyes take in everything you are seeing and experiencing. When you aren't in your serious, thoughtful mood, you make some of the silliest faces! Your daddy always makes silly faces so maybe you're gearing up to be like him. Or maybe you are going to be like me and show everything you are thinking right on your face. Only time can tell! For now we love watching you and wondering what is going on in your head!<br />

This has been such a fun month with you, Annabelle! You are still the sweetest little baby and I cannot get enough of you. You are a charmer and are always making friends when we go to church and run errands. Your big blue eyes and chubby cheeks help you wiggle your way into the heart of everyone you meet!<br />

</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">Sweet girl, you are four months old! I am completely in awe at how this has already happened! You are getting bigger, stronger and sweeter with each and every day. We are loving every minute!</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><br />
</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">This was a fun month for you! We had lots of fun visitors this month-your GiGi, Aunt Jenn, Grandma and Grandpa Krueger and Troy all came to spend some time with you. You and I even had our very first slumber party when Daddy had to go away for a night. I cannot wait until you are older and we can have real slumber parties together!</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><br />

Your favorite thing to do is put your little bitty fingers in your mouth. You could spend the whole day chewing on those things, it makes you so happy. You are also working on your motor skills and are learning to play with your Sophie giraffe and a fun teething toy from Pops. You are so good at holding onto them and bringing them to your mouth. Within the last few weeks you have learned to pick them up on your own and can move them from one hand to the other and back again. It thrills me to watch you learn to do this.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHFM0npQutdQD4POVoXAk_-o2GkPvPfctU0WmqRcIzOEgQTLcJ1v4u2gAlMuxrtiz4CoY4ZWqv0T6HCEB8zyodnOKu0PcLIQqqpMSq4lRCI2x1okPcB_RNUi_NCAA080cbYTsGxyoHbyM/s1600/DSC_0590.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHFM0npQutdQD4POVoXAk_-o2GkPvPfctU0WmqRcIzOEgQTLcJ1v4u2gAlMuxrtiz4CoY4ZWqv0T6HCEB8zyodnOKu0PcLIQqqpMSq4lRCI2x1okPcB_RNUi_NCAA080cbYTsGxyoHbyM/s640/DSC_0590.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
You are the happiest, easiest baby! You are still sleeping like an absolute pro and we are thankful for that. I can't remember the last time I woke up with you in the night. People may say that you look like your daddy, but you certainly seem to have my love for sleep. You wake up each morning around 7:30 and nap from 8:30-10:30, 12-2, 3-4:30 and 6-7. Bedtime is generally around 8:00 and then you are fast asleep until I see you again in the morning. You always wake up with a smile on your face, it warms your mommy's heart!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQP7CrotUTROWNwhiRF0L-xkqLIcZMab2rogdJN_TbVTBCpOpY3u5CzYIYRNIs6_iwnI7jxrAIXU0jExepexqsd69kp_27bb_U_PYkQdPJ1qwdIAfO28d9JKNodAzTVXjqOoDxLq-6IhU/s1600/DSC_0611.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQP7CrotUTROWNwhiRF0L-xkqLIcZMab2rogdJN_TbVTBCpOpY3u5CzYIYRNIs6_iwnI7jxrAIXU0jExepexqsd69kp_27bb_U_PYkQdPJ1qwdIAfO28d9JKNodAzTVXjqOoDxLq-6IhU/s640/DSC_0611.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
You haven't quite rolled over yet but you sure are close! You rock from side to side when you're on your back and your tummy. You generally get distracted by chewing on your fingers, that is much more important to you than rolling over! I can't blame you, you're a girl who knows what she likes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgz1tVshoi44ORxEHc15PY9H_qbuskhfCwdGctzjVNWe4VArudNuTmMLudFis-E_KGatguhPkXc_buWXdsxPckVwJ_sRyH1Gv1_EKDwRV3mmEPyPkENl5SkiP_wQqDMTRsOWOLQlBx5Us/s1600/DSC_0619.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgz1tVshoi44ORxEHc15PY9H_qbuskhfCwdGctzjVNWe4VArudNuTmMLudFis-E_KGatguhPkXc_buWXdsxPckVwJ_sRyH1Gv1_EKDwRV3mmEPyPkENl5SkiP_wQqDMTRsOWOLQlBx5Us/s640/DSC_0619.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">We can already see your personality starting to peek through. You are filled with smiles, giggles and coos when you are at home with us. When we go out to church or to a friend's house though, it takes you a while to warm up to the new surroundings. You aren't quite as open with the smiles and you stay pretty quiet. Your little eyes dart all over, looking at every new person and taking everything in. You seem just the tiniest bit shy around new people and new situations. We don't mind that you save all of your cutest smiles for us!</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLr2WxBSfXnMg68AYes8oyygQmA_Wl8MaRVoP1INeqvNp1IIIP1kyArTHtptgUrCGldglO-nvC8VwADcQ7k-8ehtgaLp3oNZ2fNkgKQDPiOjBtfpN3cqtgi8ORUoS8PaAFsaN5bzamlIA/s1600/DSC_0631.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLr2WxBSfXnMg68AYes8oyygQmA_Wl8MaRVoP1INeqvNp1IIIP1kyArTHtptgUrCGldglO-nvC8VwADcQ7k-8ehtgaLp3oNZ2fNkgKQDPiOjBtfpN3cqtgi8ORUoS8PaAFsaN5bzamlIA/s640/DSC_0631.jpg" width="424" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">My sweet girl, you continue to be the greatest blessing to our family. You bring such joy, happiness and love into our home. I look forward to each and every day with you. You are learning new things every day and we are on the edge of our seats to see what new things this next month will bring. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And just so I'll always remember what fun we had during these photo shoots, how about a little blooper? Sometimes a girl is just tired of having her picture taken!</div><br />

<br />
You are two months old! What a joy to celebrate Christmas and two months with you on the same day! We have been able to introduce you to so many wonderful things this month, Christmas lights, Texas and lots of family and friends.<br />
<br />
You are such a happy, easy baby and we are thankful for that every day! You eat every three hours during the day sleep in great, big stretches at night. We have had a few amazing nights where you have slept until 6 or almost 7 am! Usually, though, you wake up around 4 am, go back to bed for a few hours and I see you again around 6:30 to start the day. Your sleep schedule took a few setbacks when we traveled to Texas but you are still sleeping like a champ. You are happy and cheerful for your awake times and I think that is because you nap so well during the day and sleep so well at night. You are your momma's daughter, sleep is your best friend.<br />
<br />
We took you to Texas for the first time this month and made a 13 hour drive to get there. You made us so proud on the drive! Those hours in the car proved to us how amazing you do with a schedule. You napped like clockwork and woke up to eat at the exact times you normally do at home. I love how predictable you are.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHIhJTdtdRNrZYqQzruUPh5l7SEOWnpaMoFimSWBUOUlbnpooYbhBWvXGsf2NB7PQGhp2SvgtqWx3vcI-jAOk6FtThdbRHLiZAHVuUiuuywP0JQG9wkua5aejtnR0PSOTZXKCUePJrZYM/s1600/DSC_0127.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHIhJTdtdRNrZYqQzruUPh5l7SEOWnpaMoFimSWBUOUlbnpooYbhBWvXGsf2NB7PQGhp2SvgtqWx3vcI-jAOk6FtThdbRHLiZAHVuUiuuywP0JQG9wkua5aejtnR0PSOTZXKCUePJrZYM/s400/DSC_0127.jpg" width="265" /></a></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><br />
You have started giving us sweet little smiles this month! We have even heard the cutest giggles come out of your mouth! I will never forget the night your daddy first heard you giggle. He called me upstairs, after I grabbed the video camera, and we stood there watching you smile, coo and laugh for the longest time. Oh, Annabelle, you would have thought our little baby had just saved the world with how proud we were to hear those giggles. Thank you for saving them for a time when we could both be there to watch you experience something as fun as laughing!<br />
<br />

You have started to enjoy playing on the floor. Sometimes the only thing that keeps you from fussing is when I put you down on your back and let you kick. I think you are trying to get out all the last bits of energy in your little body before taking a nap. </div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ-im8226nRnZKoaxxqkb948MjZnJqM6qnb1Fy8CVgyskzpeE67Gppgjq8w6n_-xQt8TZ7bXGCkkUXg1u4KoM2K6PzEK0ka4OBIZqdxVBfSLMhi7dzbxx0OxlOJSZOEVyVorPMejVQkPg/s1600/DSC_0118+%25281%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ-im8226nRnZKoaxxqkb948MjZnJqM6qnb1Fy8CVgyskzpeE67Gppgjq8w6n_-xQt8TZ7bXGCkkUXg1u4KoM2K6PzEK0ka4OBIZqdxVBfSLMhi7dzbxx0OxlOJSZOEVyVorPMejVQkPg/s400/DSC_0118+%25281%2529.jpg" width="265" /></a></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: left;">Your favorite time of day is bathtime! You love being in the warm water and kick your legs like crazy the whole time. You also love when we wash your hair with your soft hairbrush, I think it tickles because it always makes you smile. We really love seeing you discover things that make you happy as we see little glimmers of your personality. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: left;">The only time you were not a fan of your bath was on the day you had your two month vaccinations. You were so upset the whole day and silly Mommy thought a bath would cheer you up like always. I barely got you in that bathtub before I pulled you right back out. We skipped the bath that night in exchange for a little baby Tylenol and some extra cuddles before bedtime. </div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">You are one month old! One whole month with you in our home, I can't believe it! What an amazing month this has been. This month has somehow been harder and easier than I ever imagined, all at the same time. You have brought so much joy into our lives already. We adore you, our sweet girl.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">We started working on getting you on a schedule this month. I had never planned on doing that this early but you naturally put yourself on a daytime schedule so we went from there. We decided that we would try to put you on a more consistent schedule and if you didn't seem ready, we would hold off. It turned out to be a breeze and you seem so happy in our routine! You generally start getting ready for bed with a bath at 8:30, a feeding at 9:00 and finally bedtime at 9:30. Right now you generally wake up around 2:00 am to eat again and then go back to sleep until 6:00. After eating at 6:00 you take a morning catnap (Mommy does, too!) and our day really gets started around 9:00. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">You take most of your naps in your room and sleep there at night as well. This started when you were about 3 weeks old and was a great decision for you and for me. We both sleep so much better and I know your daddy sleeps better too. I was sad to move you to your room and not have you right beside me at night but am thrilled that you have adjusted well. You are so adaptable!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">You had a horrible case of diaper rash this month. We tried some at-home remedies that just weren't working well enough for you so we made a trip to see the pediatrician. Sweet girl, my heart was breaking for how awful your little diaper area looked. The pediatrician gave us some great suggestions (including eliminating wipes and using a hair dryer during diaper changes) which helped clear you up at last. We think you have sensitive skin because you also had a bit of baby acne and dry skin. Mommy invested in some fancy baby skin care and took care of that situation as well. We were so happy when both of these issues cleared up and we you stopped being uncomfortable. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">You are the sweetest thing in the world to us, Annabelle. I thrills us to hear every coo, every hiccup, every precious baby sneeze. We can't get enough of your cute yawns and the way your little bitty mouth goes into the most perfect circle at the end of each one. We snuggle you every chance we can. This has been such an amazing month with you, our baby girl. We love you to the moon and back again. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">That's about all that's been happening in our neck of the woods this week. Annabelle's one and two month updates are on up next, you know, since she'll be THREE months next week!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

We were fifteen years old and on a school bus heading to a high school football game. He must have been quite smitten with me since I was wearing a less than adorable marching band uniform and he still somehow wanted me to be his girlfriend.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">And now here we are, ten years later, spending this day with our new little bundle of sweetness. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">I'm a little more tired on this November 8 than I was on November 8, 2001. I don't mind it though. I am also far more in love than I was ten years ago. More in love with Kyle, in love with our sweet Annabelle and in love with this new chapter of our life.</div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Happy ten years to my wonderful husband. I imagine the next ten will be even more eventful than the first!</div><br />

Obviously not all of them were the <i>real </i>last date before baby, but I felt like we needed to squeeze in a few extra fun nights before our little girl arrives. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I also felt the need to snap pictures before each one, just in case it would turn out to be the last one. Kyle was very sweet to indulge me, not only in such fun dates, but in our self-timer photo shoots. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">A few Fridays ago we decided that we were bored and wanted to get out of the house. We wanted to do something more than just dinner so we hit up the local bowling alley before getting something to eat. We had a great time and it was fun to add something that we don't usually do to the date night routine.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhadUfAfd7r72en-jYeeAzZMRbkGa1NKA_51ImGlFalJlWCnhyphenhyphenJ1klgYhyrHEcJLBN_jeabFym1Yi_KQUi3Dx39Idw3HvW7qpZ5IBA2RVCXwSpbNfBI-g25rmzUAT87DQPDDGafJJUFuhU/s1600/DSC_0225.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhadUfAfd7r72en-jYeeAzZMRbkGa1NKA_51ImGlFalJlWCnhyphenhyphenJ1klgYhyrHEcJLBN_jeabFym1Yi_KQUi3Dx39Idw3HvW7qpZ5IBA2RVCXwSpbNfBI-g25rmzUAT87DQPDDGafJJUFuhU/s320/DSC_0225.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Two weeks ago I got it in my head that we needed another <i>last</i> date. I mentioned several times during the week that I wanted to go on a <i>real</i> date. Bless sweet Kyle for putting up with me when I say ridiculous things like that. I mentioned to him that I missed the days when he had to ask me out on a date in advance and when dates were more 'official' than just getting in the car and going out to the usual restaurant. Seriously, the guy deserves a medal for putting up with me. I don't even know what I mean when I request such absurd things as <i>real, official </i>dates, I'm not sure how I expect him to decipher my codes.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Apparently he was paying attention because on this particular Saturday he went to the grocery store for me (which was already pretty stinking romantic to a 38 week pregnant girl) and came home with a beautiful bouquet of fall flowers. He also informed me that he had made dinner reservations at a restaurant that neither of us had ever been to before. After a minor 'what am I going to wear?!' meltdown, I was very excited about our fun night out!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">(poor pregnant girl, it looks like I have dislocated my hip and am about to fall over. At least my husband is handsome and my fall wreath is pretty)<br />
<br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">Dinner was so much fun! It was a small, local restaurant. The head chef/owner came out to meet us and congratulated us on our baby girl. They even had balloons waiting for us at the table, such a sweet, thoughtful touch! There was live jazz music and the most delicious food. We had such a great time. It was a really special night out.</span></td></tr>

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And with our due date right around the corner, we decided to have one more last date this weekend. This one was pretty low key, but a great time nonetheless. We ate at one of our favorite restaurants and Kyle treated me to a Dairy Queen blizzard for dessert. The pregnant gal in this picture looks a little more exhausted than on the previous two <i>last</i> dates, but we had to snap a picture anyways. </div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggIL8sRXv_c9ugTs9RullkuyQ-9yjKtb4vNAIHabFJ1s6zEBZEn_1Sd0f-ObOfVFQSd3jyxCMqoluYq1pkT9rVLJLIcXa7NKD0q5tJqH4MVTwhM7ylFmlqaa8thHVTG56Onveqpj_7lyA/s1600/DSC_0294.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggIL8sRXv_c9ugTs9RullkuyQ-9yjKtb4vNAIHabFJ1s6zEBZEn_1Sd0f-ObOfVFQSd3jyxCMqoluYq1pkT9rVLJLIcXa7NKD0q5tJqH4MVTwhM7ylFmlqaa8thHVTG56Onveqpj_7lyA/s400/DSC_0294.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I am so glad we squeezed in all of these fun nights right at the end of our pregnancy. It has been so nice to get out of the house and spend some quality time together, away from baby to-do lists and the television. I think it is so important for all couples to real time together and I think that becomes even more important when little ones enter into the picture. I am thankful we took the time to do this now and set aside some time for one another before our little bundle of sweetness arrives. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

<br />
We had to wait until Tucker decided to take a rest so we could get some pictures with the birthday boy.<br />

I'm surprised the buttons are still on this cardigan after squeezing myself into it!<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This time last year Tucker was turning a year old and was about a month away from having <a href="http://kyleandstephaniekrueger.blogspot.com/2010/11/get-well-soon.html"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #a64d79;">emergency eye surgery</span></a>. I remember being so scared that he would never be the same after having his eye removed and that our sweet, energetic puppy would be gone forever. It made me so happy to see him running around the park today, still as crazy and happy as ever. Two surgeries haven't slowed him down at all!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

Try to wrap your head around that one, I simply cannot. They say she is between 18.9 and 19.2 inches long and anywhere between 6.2 and 9.2 pounds. That weight estimate made me laugh out loud! There is a big difference between 6.2 and 9.2 pounds! I have a feeling this little nugget is closer to the 9.2 mark.</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Maternity Clothes:</b> That's a big ol' y-e-s. If I am spending the day at home, I usually just wear comfy pants and one of Kyle's tshirts. Now that it is getting cooler outside, I have a few non-maternity dresses that I can wear with tights. For the most part though, I have a handful of items that still fit me and I am sick of them all.</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Gender:</b> It's a girl! We had a little scare a few weeks ago when the princess decided to have a very lazy morning. It scared us half to death and Kyle ended up taking me to the doctor to get checked out. They hooked me up to some monitors and about 15 minutes later she was having herself a little dance party. She has been making her presence very known since then. I am trying to enjoy every little kick and bump because I know they are almost over and I think I am really going to miss them.</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Sleep:</b> I am actually sleeping pretty well which I am incredibly thankful! A few weeks back my sleep wasn't that great, I was waking up a lot and had a horrible time getting comfortable. Kyle upgraded me to a better pregnancy pillow and it has truly made all the difference. I wake up one or two times a night to use the restroom but that's about it. </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>What I miss: </b>Just the usual end of pregnancy complaints. I miss sitting on the couch comfortably and I really miss being able to run more than two errands without feeling completely exhausted. </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Cravings:</b> Last week I needed some Domino's thin crust pizza in a bad way. We ate lots of this when I was first pregnant so I guess I decided to bring it back at the end of this whole adventure.</div></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Symptoms:</b> Some might say that I am a bit more emotional than usual. I also get pretty sore if I do to much in any given day. I had a few days last week where I ran lots of errands or cleaned the house really well and my body was not happy with me the next day. I've been trying to take it easy since then and give myself plenty of time to rest.</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><b>Best Moment this week:</b> We had an ultrasound about a week and a half ago. We couldn't get any great pictures of Annabelle because she is running out of room, but it was really great to see her again! Judging from what we could tell, she has Kyle's lips and the cutest round belly you've ever seen! We also spent a lot of time wrapping up her nursery last week. I am so happy with how it has turned out and will take some pictures soon. It is simple, girly and oh so sweet.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><br />

The shower was at my parents house and was hosted by my mom, my sister and two of my very best girlfriends. We had an amazing turnout of friends and family. I am still completely overwhelmed that so many people were able to celebrate with us and am so thankful for the love and support from each of them. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Every detail of the shower was perfect and unbelievably thoughtful, starting with the cute welcome banner!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBLaRc4oVP0RUnXeLP_d_bQ8Mjr0gbnO4Uj91ynsPi-5ADcOPq2DFwTtRWQ5nC6CXImcF0zvaeF_axNvVUDUTAO99jTtekc-hrEj6eYz2VQcCZC_7J-hDztOBfMxC0k_698YxAVAKLZnja/s1600/DSCF0832.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBLaRc4oVP0RUnXeLP_d_bQ8Mjr0gbnO4Uj91ynsPi-5ADcOPq2DFwTtRWQ5nC6CXImcF0zvaeF_axNvVUDUTAO99jTtekc-hrEj6eYz2VQcCZC_7J-hDztOBfMxC0k_698YxAVAKLZnja/s400/DSCF0832.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">My sister had the vintage flash cards (hanging on the glass doors) specially made with all sorts of 'baby' words. We used a book of children's poems for the sign-in. I thought it would be sweet to have all of the guests sign their names in a book that we could read to Annabelle each night.<br />
<br />
The birthday cards in the bottom right corner of this collage are probably my favorite detail from the shower. Jennifer made cards for each of Annabelle's birthdays from 1-30 and each guest chose one to fill out. The notes on these cards are priceless! Many of my high school and college friends chose ages that coincided with when we met and shared memories that we have together. Some people shared special birthday wishes and prayers for Annabelle as she celebrates each age. My best friends both offered to take her out for margaritas in about 25 years! I think these will be so special to give to hear on each birthday. Such a thoughtful, amazing gift!</div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQx5KIdh8WVMle8YCpcQcOBH8LoZHelDbqcddDN90tS_V8PiDu0sLb1RLOhVzTUF1OdwGLHcZeEtw6dk1Lyx5c5eDMJJt9OMOex28lya37W8-NMKmI-BWXaK0FB60YoBOaawQ0BkpjGLxE/s1600/shower1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="250" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQx5KIdh8WVMle8YCpcQcOBH8LoZHelDbqcddDN90tS_V8PiDu0sLb1RLOhVzTUF1OdwGLHcZeEtw6dk1Lyx5c5eDMJJt9OMOex28lya37W8-NMKmI-BWXaK0FB60YoBOaawQ0BkpjGLxE/s400/shower1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><br />
</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="text-align: center;">Across from the sign-in table were party favors and our one shower game. The ladies had to guess the size of my baby belly in order to try and win a prize. The guests had lots of time to do this while everyone arrived and while we ate so it was the perfect activity. The favors that Jennifer found were amazing! Each guest received a bottle of OPI nail polish in 'It's a Girl!' and they were wrapped up with the cutest tags. What girl wouldn't get excited over a free bottle of sweet pink polish?</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgun-Oxo2cgFI6lyoZIFrDhdVTScg72Fna6KneqgNxYx4gSQDC6m3Zvu2bwhxAvbAxRd9U8XjoLn5nomzqkac-5c9WXgatOMjsj5livHBbeusMA_loVLyeW4r4pvIFt1UPyrCOgWHxAYhgO/s1600/shower.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="250" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgun-Oxo2cgFI6lyoZIFrDhdVTScg72Fna6KneqgNxYx4gSQDC6m3Zvu2bwhxAvbAxRd9U8XjoLn5nomzqkac-5c9WXgatOMjsj5livHBbeusMA_loVLyeW4r4pvIFt1UPyrCOgWHxAYhgO/s400/shower.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div><br />
</div><div>The invitations were adorable and the cake coordinated perfectly! The cake was made by <a href="http://www.edibledesignsbyjessie.com/">Edible Designs by Jessie</a>. Jessie made mine and Jennifer's wedding cakes and also made Jennifer's bridal shower cake. Jennifer also covered the dining room light fixture with the cutest assortment of poms and paper lanterns. </div><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">The food was incredible! We dined on chicken salad croissants (thanks Sara and Ms. Susan!), salad, fresh fruit and other tasty treats. Meredith made the darling diaper cake which is now on display in Annabelle's room.<br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">Candy coated popcorn was given out to each winner of the game. The shower was on August 14th which happens to be my mom's birthday and Sara's grandma's birthday. There were two extra bags of popcorn for the birthday girls. <i>{I told you that every detail was filled with thoughtfulness!}</i><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">And the best shot of the day! My dad had to take this picture from our staircase just to get everyone in it. I wanted to go ahead and include the 'best moment' info for each week as well as the pictures (except for the one week I missed). I just want to be sure that I don't forget the fun things that stood out for each week in baby-world. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Week 27</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Best Moment this week:</b> The highlight of week 27 was getting to spend time with my sister in DC. As usual, we had the best time together. We added a few new stores to our usual shopping rotation since we now have a little lady to spoil. It was so fun to browse baby clothes and (very stylish!) diaper bags with Annabelle's Aunt Jenn. </div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU0M21TaydiSWO4GYuN6HnVGqfrdYcf7o35A3o2wmzHCHyjgaOan9RujFj8bRJKPXXX7MyopIuQjV3RYDUa_Iz23B-1uyRRIypGPNSzAimmmSGdCZP7PW1Xudo3rB1sZW7rlInfS_lhWsB/s1600/photo-59.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU0M21TaydiSWO4GYuN6HnVGqfrdYcf7o35A3o2wmzHCHyjgaOan9RujFj8bRJKPXXX7MyopIuQjV3RYDUa_Iz23B-1uyRRIypGPNSzAimmmSGdCZP7PW1Xudo3rB1sZW7rlInfS_lhWsB/s320/photo-59.jpg" width="239" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Week 28</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Best Moment this week:</b> One of the most fun parts of week 28 was a trip that Kyle and I took to do some Annabelle shopping. We stopped by a huge sale at Carter's and picked up a few precious little sleepers for Annabelle. Want to see the cutest thing in the world? Watch a 25 year old guy pick out pink onesies for his baby girl. I think Kyle picked out most of the the outfits we ended up buying. I never knew it, but he has really great taste when it comes to baby girl clothes. </div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9Ic3gviSGpIJ4SwrysxnKViQGQ5QPjKJxjROz8y7beFf1j3TquAkwaRCFskf-Mq3rHL6xgtMRqL1rJ9rgDt1kuuwtir8wwK2qbYIuD4Zb9AttFsLcg55U-odtbILGUmrfcNcgfRohkzj7/s1600/photo-56.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9Ic3gviSGpIJ4SwrysxnKViQGQ5QPjKJxjROz8y7beFf1j3TquAkwaRCFskf-Mq3rHL6xgtMRqL1rJ9rgDt1kuuwtir8wwK2qbYIuD4Zb9AttFsLcg55U-odtbILGUmrfcNcgfRohkzj7/s320/photo-56.jpg" width="239" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Week 29</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;"><b>Best Moment this week:</b> I don't have a picture from week 29 so imagine a bump a little bigger than week 28 and a little smaller than week 30. We had a doctor's appointment this week and were thrilled to hear that Annabelle is doing well! I had my glucose test at this appointment and as my amazing nurse Patrice told me, I passed with flying colors. We also drove to Texas this week. Our time in Texas was fantastic. The drive to Texas was, in a word, rough. 29 weeks pregnant + 12.5 hours in the car is just not a recipe for a good time.</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">And finally, week 30! That's right, 30 weeks. Meaning we only have 10 weeks left. Holy smokes!</div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Size of baby:</b> Annabelle is the size of a cabbage! She weighs around 3 pounds and is between 15 and 16 inches long. I am just amazed at how big she is growing!</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Maternity Clothes:</b> I am pretty much wearing 100% maternity. I have a few non-maternity tops that I can still wear and one or two non-maternity tops that I bought in larger sizes. Other than that, it's pretty much all maternity, all the time. </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Gender:</b> It's a girl! Annabelle Rae Krueger</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Movement:</b> She is moving a lot! In the last few weeks I've started feeling her wiggle around a lot more, before I had mostly just been feeling her kicks. It is so amazing to feel her wiggle and switch positions. I feel like her kicks are so dainty which makes me smile. She has also started positioning herself in ways that are less than comfortable for her momma. I've started feeling little limbs jab me in the ribs, sweet girl just doesn't know that it isn't the greatest feeling.</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Sleep:</b> Oh my, sleep is just a tricky thing these days. Last night I slept wonderfully but the night before last was brutal. I was awake from 3:00-5:00 in the morning and was uncomfortable all night. I made the mistake of falling asleep without my pregnancy pillow a few nights ago and felt awful the next day. My stomach muscles were sore, my back was aching and I just felt terrible. I haven't made that mistake again and now sleep with an extra pillow for some additional support.</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>What I miss: </b>At my last appointment, my doctor told me that I would feel uncomfortable from here on out. She was not lying and I am definitely started to feel big and uncomfortable. I miss being able to roll over easily in bed and sit comfortably on the couch. </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Cravings:</b> I haven't had any lately, at least not that I can remember. I am still drinking lots of water every day. </div></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Symptoms:</b> I get exhausted really easily these days. Kyle and I went shopping at the outlet mall yesterday and it completely wore me out. I woke up today and was having some <a href="http://www.babycenter.com/0_round-ligament-pain_205.bc"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #a64d79;"><b>round ligament pains</b></span></a> (at least that's what I think they are). Lately I have started getting them on the day following a busy day of being on my feet. </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><b>Best Moment this week:</b> My first baby shower was last Sunday and it was an absolutely perfect day! We had a wonderful group of friends and family get together to celebrate our baby girl and shower her with the most thoughtful, generous gifts. My sister, mom and two of my best friends put so much thought and love into the day. I have loads of pictures to share and will post those this week. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><br />

I am sleeping well for the most part, but sometimes it takes me a while to get comfortable. I'm sure that will only get tricker as I get bigger. I have also started having some crazy dreams this week. One such dream included calling mall security on a woman who was stealing Chick-fil-A nuggets from my friends and me. What does that say about me?!</div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>What I miss: </b>I miss sleeping on my stomach. It is crazy hot outside and I am terrified of getting dehydrated so I keep a glass of water with me all day long. </div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>Symptoms:</b> Nothing too extreme, mostly just that I get tired really quickly. </div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><b>Best Moment this week:</b> The best baby related moment would be getting Annabelle's crib set up! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">I absolutely love it! Kyle and I went back and forth (and back and forth a few more times) when we were looking for a crib. I loved antique white. Kyle hated antique white. Kyle loved dark wood. I hated dark wood. For those of you who remember the struggles Kyle and I had when we were trying to register for dinnerware and bedding, this was a very similar experience. I think the angels were singing when we finally stumbled upon this beauty, not too dark and not too light. We love it so much! Big thanks go Grandpa Scott and Grandma Kim for the beautiful gift! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">We also have her bedding but are still waiting on one piece that is back in Texas. Her bedding is also a gift which I *technically* should not have received yet. Thankfully the gift-giver is aware that Annabelle's momma is impatient and was dying to get a peek. So although we have it (mostly) set up and it is looking GORGEOUS, I'm going to hold off on sharing it for a few weeks. (I know that none of you needed that l-o-n-g explanation, but you got it!) All you need to know is that all of Annabelle's grandparents have been very generous in giving her the perfect place to rest her sweet head.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;">We've upgraded from iphone photos to Nikon photos this week! Sadly they are still bathroom pictures, but it's a step in the right direction. I took this right before I headed to the airport so didn't have time to get Kyle's help with a photoshoot. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center;"><br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">This picture is old but it is from one of my favorite sister weekends ever, our weekend trip to NYC.<br />
<br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">Our weekend includes all of our favorite things. We will be eating Mexican food, shopping, seeing a movie that neither of our husbands would have any interest in seeing, going to loads of tasty restaurants and we even have tickets to see Wicked (BIG thanks to my brother-in-law for that!!). I have had my plane tickets since May and am about to burst with excitement that it is finally time for the trip.<br />
<br />
I promise to be back soon with pictures and stories from the trip and hopefully I'll find some time to get a pregnancy update done today.<br />
<br />
Until then, I'm off to pack my bags and sit on the couch, counting down the minutes until time to head to the airport.</span></td></tr>
