workin' 9 to 5.

That little Dolly Parton ditty was in my head this morning. Why? Because I GOT A NEW JOB!!

I am now officially a preschool teacher (I'm actually co-teaching) and will be spending my days with the cutest bunch of 2.5 year olds you ever did see!

Today was my first real day of work and I. am. exhausted. Have any of you ever spent the entire day with 14 toddlers? It is tiring in every sense of the word but it is also silly, giggly, and oh-so-fun!

My new job status should explain my lack of blogging over the last week. Once I went back for a second (and third) interview, I really didn't know what else to blog about other than how much I wanted the job.

Now that it is official I am so excited! I had a great time working at the bridal salon but it was definitely not my passion and spending the day with these little ones reminded me of all the many, many reasons why I adore working with kids. I love the school so much and am so thankful for this new blessing in my life.

Just wanted to share the big announcement. I'll let all of you get back to the riveting Bachelorette finale now :)

  3. congratulations!! ... i actually have spent the entire day with 20 4 year olds and i wouldn't trade my experience as a pre-k teacher for anything! i know you have experience teaching, but the little ones are just so amazing. so teachable, to eager to learn... so, so loving. if i am ever in the situation where i have decided to be a stay at home mom and no longer want to do therapy, i will without a doubt be submitting resumes to preschools! youre going to just love everything. i hope the teachers are awesome too - i loved working with a bunch of ladies! so fun!! yayyyyyyyyyyyy! so proud of you!
